Energy Sustainability Drives Global Resilience

Sustainable Resilience Solutions (SRS) is a strategic, incorporated collaboration between the High Alert Institute—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity and registered clean energy company—and Solis Power. We operate under a simple but powerful philosophy: “No margin, no mission.” As the commercialization and technology transfer branch of the Institute, we monetize breakthrough green energy and waste-to-energy technologies. We sell our proven systems and expertise to commercial markets, then use 100% of this revenue to fund free, life-saving disaster readiness and healthcare programs for underserved communities.

Integrated Systems for a Zero-Emission Future

To build lasting resilience, we must rethink how we generate power and manage waste. We deploy a trusted, modular green energy ecosystem designed to fortify critical infrastructure. By integrating advanced solar thermal power with patented supercritical waste-to-energy systems, we create closed-loop economies. Our systems behave like traditional thermal assets but operate without the environmental damage, giving commercial partners and municipalities the dispatchable power and waste remediation tools they need to thrive. This represents a new category of infrastructure – resilience as infrastructure.

Our Vision:

By 2030, Sustainable Resilience Solutions will establish a globally recognized, self-sustaining engine of social change. We will bridge the gap between commercial technology markets and humanitarian aid, transforming industrial waste and solar energy into 24/7 baseload power, clean water, and vital funding for global resilience.

Key Outcomes:

Continuous Clean Power

Our advanced Supercritical Technologies, including Solis Power’s Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems, deliver true 24/7 dispatchable renewable energy, eliminating greenhouse gas emissions and cleaning waste water while reducing grid intermittency and facility power outages.

Waste-to-Value Conversion

We transform hazardous and carbon-based waste into usable thermal energy, clean water, and sequesterable mineral solids, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing environmental justice.

Resilience as Infrastructure

By combining energy, emergency systems, and capital deployment into a single platform, we enable long-term infrastructure stability, reduce operational risk, improve climate tolerance, access institutional capital at scale, and measurably improve ESG, SDG and community outcomes.

Global Scalability

Through strategic licensing and commercial partnerships, we move practical solutions out of the laboratory and into the global market, ensuring rapid deployment to the industries and communities that need them most.

Humanitarian Funding

By monetizing mission-driven intellectual property, like our supercritical technologies, we reduce our reliance on traditional charity. This creates a stable, long-term funding base for our core humanitarian deployments worldwide.

A Modular Ecosystem for Green Energy

Supercritical Combustion Engine

The Problem: Traditional fossil fuel combustion systems are highly inefficient and release massive amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, driving climate change.

Our Solution: Our patented Supercritical Combustion Engine integrates a fuel-piloted Supercritical Water Oxidation Reactor (SCWOR) with a regenerative Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (SCCO2) Brayton cycle turbine. Operating at temperatures above 650°C and 250 bar using corrosion-resistant materials, the supercritical combustion engine converts liquid and gaseous fossil fuel waste into thermal energy, clean water, solid minerals, and supercritical CO2. This technology achieves up to 80% energy conversion efficiency and can be retrofitted to existing industrial systems.

Supercritical Catalytic Converter

The Problem: Industrial and municipal waste, including forever chemicals, sewage, and fossil fuel byproducts, pollute ecosystems and lack effective, green remediation methods.

Our Solution: This patented system integrates SCWOR technology with a SCCO2 Turbine in a closed-loop configuration. The supercritical catalytic converter harnesses the extreme heat generated during waste oxidation to drive Allam and regenerative Brayton cycles. The converter securely breaks down organic waste above its critical point (374°C and 221 bar), separating pure water from inorganic compounds. The process sequesters CO2 emissions and cogenerates electricity and clean water without releasing greenhouse gases.

Supercritical Industrial Photosynthesis & Chemosynthesis

The Problem: Traditional agriculture consumes vast amounts of land and water, making global food supply chains highly vulnerable to climate change, extreme weather, and resource depletion.

Our Solution: This groundbreaking patent utilizes supercritical environments to facilitate non-agricultural food production. By harnessing industrial chemosynthesis and photosynthesis, we can produce essential nutrients and biomaterials independent of traditional land and water constraints. This technology scales to fortify global food security in the most resource-scarce environments.

Solis Power ASC Concentrated Solar Thermal

The Problem: Standard renewable energy sources, like photovoltaic solar panels and wind, are intermittent. They lack the reliability and dispatchability required to replace fossil fuels for industrial baseload power.

Our Solution: Partnering with Solis Power, we deploy the Ayman Solar Collector (ASC) as part of our supercritical systems. This non-imaging metallic concentrator achieves operating temperatures over 1200°C. Paired with molten-salt and particle thermal energy storage, the ASC delivers dispatchable, 24/7 baseload power. The Solis system offers 42–50% solar-to-electric efficiency, provides three times the energy density of traditional PV systems, and requires 70% less land.

Our Partners

Our mission relies on a powerful coalition of innovators, engineers, and financial leaders dedicated to leveraging technology for social impact. Our primary green energy partner, Solis Power, develops and manufactures dispatchable solar thermal power plants that operate continuously, day and night. Our systems use concentrated solar power (CSP) to generate high-temperature heat, store that energy using long-duration molten-salt thermal energy storage, and convert the energy to electricity through proven industrial power cycles. We combine these solar thermal systems with technologies developed at NASA Glenn Research Center and the Sandia National Laboratory. Together our systems are designed to replace current fossil fuel power plants with supercritical power plants for utilities, data centers, and energy-intensive industrial facilities with greenhouse gasses.
